    This book presents Pope Francis’ vision for the Church, a Church for the Poor.  The selection of texts taken from by Pope Francis’ homilies, addresses and official teaching, is ordered by themes, including the centrality in Christ, listening to the Spirit and the Cry of the Poor and demolishing the idols of money and power

    This book is quite an easy read, with forgiveness as the angle used to speak about mercy.  It does refer to Bible stories, so a cursory knowledge would be expected
