Seeking approval to use a Registered Mercy Mark

To protect against any inappropriate use of the silver and black Mercy Cross, the defining emblem of Sisters of Mercy worldwide, and of the words “Sisters of Mercy” and “Catherine McAuley”, procedures are in place to consider any request to use any of these three registered ‘Mercy Marks’.  These procedures have been agreed upon by the four registered owners of these Mercy Marks in Australia and Papua New Guinea, namely the Sisters of Mercy Brisbane Congregation, Sisters of Mercy North Sydney Congregation, Sisters of Mercy Parramatta Congregation and the Institute of Sisters of Mercy of Australia and Papua New Guinea (Institute).
