Our prayer and practical action this Advent might embrace the concerns of those who yearn for liberation from various forms of oppression, particularly those seeking asylum in our country and the many people in our region who have recently suffered the devastating effects of earthquake and tsunami. Our Advent could make a difference to their Christmas.
