Vote Earth and Walk Against Warming
The Institute’s Specific Issues Committee, Eco-Justice, reminds readers of the UN Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen (December 7-18, 2009). Professor Tim Flannery, a keynote speaker at the Mercy Justice Conference, alerted delegates about the campaign to “Vote Earth”. Readers are also encouraged to support the “Walk Against Warming” event on December 12.
WALK AGAINST WARMING – December 12
The Global Day of Action on Climate Change (December 12) is mid-way through the Copenhagen meeting. While world leaders talk and seek a deal, people across the world are highlighting the issue by walking. People are encouraged to wear sky blue shoelaces.

“VOTE EARTH” TODAY
Professor Tim Flannery, keynote speaker at the Mercy Justice Conference, alerted delegates to the upcoming campaign to “Vote Earth”.
Casting a vote ensures political leaders know and respond to the voice of the people during the UN climate talks in Copenhagen (December 7-18). Make sure world leaders know what kind of deal you want them to make at the climate summit in Copenhagen. It only takes a minute to cast your vote and another minute to tell someone else about the campaign.
TAKE ACTION TODAY! VOTE EARTH.
