Good governance and the journey towards integral ecology

This seminar explores the relationship between good governance and integral ecology, drawing on the insights of Pope Francis in Laudato Si’ (2015) and his recent invitation in the document On the journey for Care of the Common Home (2020) to embark on a ‘7 year journey’ towards sustainability. Aspects addressed will include the meaning of integral ecology in the spirit of Laudato Si’; responding to the invitation issued by Pope Francis; opportunities and challenges for those involved in ministry governance as they journey towards integral ecology; encouraging ‘best practice’ and sharing current approaches to embedding integral ecology through good governance of our ministries.

Presenters include: Sally Neaves (ISMAPNG Integral Ecology Animator; Mission and Ministry Resource Group Coordinator), Chris Hill (ISMAPNG Environmental Sustainability Manager) and Annette Schneider rsm (ISMAPNG Governance Formation Coordinator)
