New look for Seville Mercy Conference Centre

Seville Mercy Conference Centre, Cairns, Queensland has undergone an online makeover. In early February, the conference centre launched a new, fresh, modern and user friendly website to meet the growing needs of the ministry.


The Manager of Seville Mercy Conference Centre, Rod Cole-Clarke (pictured above with Kaye Unwin) highlights the exciting changes within the ministry that have lead to a fresh new look and attitude moving forward in 2017.


“In 2016 we had a number of upgrades to the Seville property including the colour scheme of the conference centre, new furniture in the rooms and around the property, and an upgrade to the existing carpark,” says Rod. “These changes coupled with the new professional looking website have taken the ministry up a gear and given everyone involved a new lease on life.”


The website upgrade, designed and built by the Institute’s digital ministry, Fraynework Multimedia, provides a clear picture of Seville’s growing services and amenities. One of the website’s new features, online bookings, has already been well received by users.


Together with new photography the website has been developed over many hours of hard work and dedication to the final product. Rod takes the time to thank devoted staff member, Kaye Unwin, for her efforts in coordinating the new website.


“The website would not have looked as good as it does without Kayes efforts,” says Rod. “The team at Fraynework Multimedia were brilliant to work with and always maintained a direct link to Kaye to meet the needs of our ministry”.


The new website was launched only a short time after Seville Mercy Conference Centre was honoured with an award from Business View Magazine. The award for Excellence in Service in The Best Managed Firms 2016-2017 reflects the wonderful ethos at Seville Mercy Conference Centre.


The team at Seville always seek to demonstrate ‘extravagant hospitality’, which was exemplified by Catherine McAuley and is at the heart of the Institute’s 2011 Chapter Statement.


“At Seville we do our very best to make sure every single person that walks through the doors experiences hospitality at its best,” Rod said.
