Mercy archivists meet in Melbourne

Twenty-four Mercy archivists from Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand gathered for their biennial meeting at Melbourne Congregation Centre from April 18-20.

Input covered a range of topics including digitising and computerising archives, the history of the formation of Melbourne Congregation, and canonical reasons for keeping archives belonging to religious congregations.

A visit to Fraynework Multimedia was enjoyed by all and included an exploration of the Mercy world online and how archivists, like all Mercy people, can contribute to the online content of the website.
