Merciful and compassionate God, we pray for the grace to reveal your presence through our lives.
We pray that we may be people who willingly embrace the other and welcome difference.
In our efforts to be good stewards of the earth and support those on the land.
Reveal your creative energy in us.

As we respond to those who suffer from the effects of poverty, illness and lack of education.
Reveal your mercy in us.

When we welcome strangers and those who live at the margins.
Let us pause and remember the people of Gaza, Zimbabwe …
Reveal your hospitality in us.

Keep us mindful and inclusive of our indigenous brothers and sisters.
Reveal your respect in us.

God dwelling with us, we especially pray for clarity of mind and heart this day.  May we know your creative spirit among us and listen for your voice of guidance and encouragement. We ask this in the name of Jesus who gave human form to your love for us. Amen.
