Earth Link: encouraging deep bonding with earth
After ten years, Earth Link, a community environment centre sponsored by the Sisters of Mercy, is restructuring for the future.
Earth Link is looking for fresh approaches, skills, talents, and people with a commitment to the implementation of the Earth Link vision of a world where there is respect, reverence and care for the whole earth community.
Earth Link currently conducts workshops and reflective opportunities in spirituality and earth-human well-being at "Four Winds" and other venues.
Earth Link is seeking people who can be part of a team and who are looking for part-time work up to a maximum of 15 hours per week. You may be required for evenings and weekends. Earth Links wants to hear from you if you have skills and demonstrated experience in any of the following:
- Co-ordinate finance and property, including budget preparation and monitoring, oversight administration, event management, promotion, fundraising, oversight maintenance of property
- Provide catering and hospitality, including coordinating guests and bookings, catering for workshops, housekeeping and related tasks
The capacity to be involved in the delivery of programmes would be an advantage.
Remuneration will be in the range of $35-$45 per hour, depending on responsibilities and experience. Stipended persons will be paid a part stipend. Volunteers will be warmly welcomed. All positions will be for 40 weeks per annum only. All personnel will be engaged as consultants; no provision will be made for income tax, superannuation or leave.
On-site accommodation for one person or a couple is available and may be included as part of a remuneration package.

Written Expressions of Interest, outlining skills, experience and qualifications are to be received by Friday August 13. It is desirable that the new team will be in place by the end of September, but commencement dates are negotiable.
