Age shall not weary them

After the last edition of “The Bilum”, Mercy Works Inc. received a very generous donation from nine retired Victorian Sisters of Mercy. These sisters, ranging in age from their mid-70s to 101, live at Cabrini Residential Care in Melbourne.

Making some lasting efforts

As I sit in my office writing my first report for The Bilum two sights have caught my eyes. The first is the beautiful tibouchina tree outside my window. It is in full bloom in its magnificent array of purple.The other is the calendar on the wall. Even though this report will be read later in the year and the flowers will have faded and the month changed both these images will still be in my mind.
