Book launch: Australian campaign to ban landmines


In Adelaide tomorrow (Friday February 2, 2007), Australia‘s Minister for Foreign Affairs, the Honourable Alexander Downer will launch a book of reflections on the Australian campaign to ban landmines. Entitled A path is made by walking it: reflections on the Australian network to ban landmines 1991-2006, the book has been edited by Sister Patricia Pak Poy RSM (Adelaide) and Margaret Bolton (co-editor).


 


Writers of the various chapters include: Alexander Downer (Foreword), Cornelio Sommaruga (Commendation), David Atwood, Judith Blyth, Ian Buckley, Geoffrey Cameron, Ada Cheung, Judith Gardam, Janette Gray, Andrew Hamilton, David Johnson, Michael Kelly, William Maley, Katharine Massam, Patricia Pak Poy, Peter Phillips, Paul Power, John Rodsted, John Scott-Murphy, Eric Sidoti, Jody Williams, Mark Zirnsak.


 


If you will be in Adelaide tomorrow between 4:30 and 5:30 pm, you are most welcome to attend the launch which will be held at Catherine McAuley Place, 4 Victoria Street, Mile End South Australia. A Path is Made by Walking It is published by David Lovell Publishing.
