For many months now we in the Mercy family have been 'on pilgrimage' to the first Mercy convent at Baggot Street, planning to come together in person and online for a week of celebration to mark twenty years since the establishment of the Mercy International Centre and the Mercy International Association.

At present, Sisters of Mercy and their colleagues are meeting around Australia for a series of meetings which will consider the role of Mission in the life of the Institute.

Last week a Mercy Good News story appeared on the facebook page of the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre (ASRC).

McAuley Community Services for Women used Homeless Persons’ Week (August 4-10)  to tell anyone who would listen that homeless women are largely out of sight- and therefore out of mind.
