A Great Year for Sacred Spaces Singleton

2017 has been a great year for Sacred Spaces Singleton. The former Convent had just under 10,000 people come on site for various functions, activities and festivals.

The concerts for 2017 began with ragtime music in the Chapel and ended with the Sydney Youth Orchestra performing “St Stanislaus Fanfare” written especially for the wonderful Chapel. Many people visited the Convent for the first time, but vowed to return and many are regular visitors who love to attend the events.

Sacred Spaces hosted Mercy Services for their Mercy Day celebrations; celebrated their anniversary with music in the Chapel and even squeezed in weddings galore.

“One of my personal favourite events, is the Year 10 and Year 12 Formal photos,” said Cynthia Mulholland, Events and Marketing coordinator at Sacred Spaces, Singleton. “Students visit the Convent grounds to have their photos before departing for their formal event. This is spread over four days and the grounds on each occasion are filled with young adults in spectacular outfits.”

“As we wind down for the year and start prepping for our first events in January, I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Sisters, my colleagues in McAuley Ministries and the wonderful Sacred Spaces staff for their dedication and assistance throughout the year. We wish everyone a joyous Christmas and a Happy New Year.”
